Talking Stick Digital; The Journey So Far

Talking Stick Digital was born from a desire to combine years of experience and industry knowledge to create a fresh, innovative and ambitious digital marketing agency based in the South West of England, but with global reach.

Talking Stick’s team has grown exponentially in the last year, starting with Zoey, our Digital Marketing Director, and Dave, our Managing Director.

Zoey, 27, has gained her vast industry knowledge and digital marketing experience through a range of exciting and challenging roles in London agencies, and in-house in Dubai for global brands that we still work with today. David, 30, has worked with some of the world’s most luxurious hotels and resorts across the globe, including his position as Sales Manager at prestigious and renowned Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts, Dubai.

 

Humble Beginnings

Zoey and David returned from Dubai in April 2020 and made the decision to set up Talking Stick Digital in June 2020, mid-pandemic, with just one client, working from a cosy attic. The pair began their Talking Stick vision freelancing for various brands, before being asked directly to work full time for them, prompting a move to Bridgwater in the South West of England and embarking on their mission to build Talking Stick Digital as the small but mighty digital marketing powerhouse it is today.

 

The Journey So Far

In November, Talking Stick welcomed their first hire: Emma. With a Master’s degree in Digital Marketing and a love for all things PPC, Emma’s knowledge and enthusiasm led to a promotion after just six months with the business to Talking Stick Digital’s first Senior Digital Marketing Executive.

The company’s success snowballed, and with client win after client win in areas ranging from eCommerce to luxury travel, it was time for the company’s second hire: introducing, Beth. Initial Digital Marketing Executive number two, with a degree in Linguistics, Beth’s strengths and interests lie largely in SEO and copywriting. Now working as Talking Stick Digital’s second Senior Digital Marketing Executive, Beth heads-up all things copywriting and SEO for our clients.

As a team of four, the TSD team worked in the Bridgwater attic, growing week-on-week in experience and knowledge.

Fast forward 6 months, and in August, Talking Stick Digital proudly onboarded our first ever apprentice, Amelia. With a passion for all things social media and a love of travel, Amelia brings enthusiasm and desire to learn to the team. In her first two months, Amelia has managed the social media of our luxury travel clients and is hands-on when it comes to PPC and Paid Social.

With no sign of slowing down: September has brought the move of our brand-new office based in the South West of England. This exciting move is a sign of the growth to come with Talking Stick Digital, offering the space to expand month-on-month with our on-going client wins and opportunities.

 

The Talking Stick Digital Goal

We aim to become an extension of our client’s companies, working with local and global brands alike. Working and communicating with our clients on a daily basis, the Talking Stick team tailor our strategy to individual business needs to get the best results, consistently.

Our sub-brand, web development and design company Silverless, manage bespoke website builds, creatives, and brochure production, ensuring the final product is seamless and professional. Right down to the last detail.
